Pike perch
The pike perch is a normal and popular game fish in all of Europe. It is not rarely consumed, and it may reach as much as 20 kilograms, although most catches are a lot smaller. Pike Perch are not indigenous to the UK, but were brought into the East Anglian broads in the 20th century and populated quickly. British Waterways included zander among a "dirty dozen" non-native variations most likely to endanger native wildlife along waterways in Great Britain.
